Debra lyn Johnson, MA, CMC, CPG, is certified by the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and is a Professional Gerontologist. She holds a Master’s Degree in Gerontology from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of San Francisco.
Her company, Integrative ElderCare, provides care management services for the elderly and persons with Special Needs, a calling of service that comes from a deep commitment to doing what she can to support an individual’s quality of life, independence, and dignity.
She is an advocate for Aging in Place. As a member of the National Aging in Place Council, Debra works tirelessly in assisting families to evaluate their capacity to remain in their own home. She has worked with patients and families facing end of life at both Marin General Hospital and Hospice. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Debra is an expert in knowing the local resources in the field of eldercare and persons with Special Needs. Navigating the circle of care is challenging and there can be many pitfalls.
